Together, we can make a difference.
Economic and Political Freedom
- Capitalism vs Socialism/Communism. Capitalism is a fair process through the exercise of economic freedom to negotiate the exchange of ideas, goods, or services to create wealth. Ideas in the form of intellectual property, have created wealth for our nation and its citizens, along with people from around the world.
- The 20th Century saw numerous governments and countries emulate U.S. capitalism to create their own wealth.
- Countries that chose socialism or communism failed or were forced to adopt some type of free market enterprise system to improve their Gross Domestic Product.
- Small businesses need lower taxes and less bureaucracy to promote growth and prosperity.
- It is not the government’s job to guarantee an equal outcome, but to ensure the protection of our “unalienable Rights.”
- People are responsible for their own initiative and desire for success.
Infrastructure
- A professional, efficient, and effective infrastructure is critical to ensure people and businesses have access to market their goods and services. This includes safe roads, bridges, and waterways, rural broadband development for people and businesses beyond the urban areas, water and sewer services, and enough power generation and distribution to meet all these needs.
- People and businesses will grow and prosper when infrastructure development satisfies a specified need and not the whim of a political special interest.
Health and Education
- Healthcare reform that is fiscally responsible, while providing competition in the marketplace is infinitely better than government mandated and subsidized coverage.
- Parental involvement and choices in primary school is key to determining the best education route for our children.
- There is no such thing as “free” healthcare or education. A healthy and productive population is beneficial to society, but individual needs and requirements vary for everyone. “One size fits all” healthcare or education does not satisfy everyone, and it certainly is not free. Someone always pays the bill.
